Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) today lodged a police report against the recent purchase of a 1.5 acre land by Lembaga Tabung Haji from the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) at the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur.
AMK, represented by Seri Setia assemblyman, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad filed a report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters, here today.
Nik Nazmi was accompanied by Pandamaran state assemblyman, Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew who arrived at the police station at approximately 11am.
Among the issues raised by Nik Nazmi is the existence of three individuals in Tabung Haji who was allegedly linked with the debt-stricken 1MDB.

This raises the question of whether there is a conflict of interest or breach of trust in handling the purchase of the TRX land.
"Previously, Tabung Haji has a good track record in handling public fund. And now Tabung Haji is caught in between 1MDB issues and this is will harm the welfare of depositors,” said Nik Nazmi.
In addition, Nik Nazmi also stressed about the land purchase amount that is equal to 1MDB total debt.
Another individual who also filed a report, Abdul Razak bin Ismail, 54 had expressed his grave concern over his savings which he had planned to use to perform the hajj.
"It's surprising to learn that the deposited money is used to purchase the land. This is not a political issue but the issue of the people, “he said, as matter-of-factly.
