He came into close contact with Padang Rengas MP Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz who also tested positive yesterday. They were seated next to each other at a press conference on Jan 12.
According to a statement on Tajuddin’s Facebook page, the Prasarana chairman underwent screening on Jan 19 and tested positive today.
“Anyone who came into close contact with him should undergo COVID-19 screening.

“Datuk Seri Haji Tajuddin apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks everyone who prayed for him,” the statement said.
Tajuddin’s daughter told Astro AWANI that his father is currently at home in Bukit Damansara. She adds that he showed no symptoms.
National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique also tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
