#TangkapMO1: Police question 11 over anti-government rally

The police have recorded statements from 11 participants of a gathering held last Saturday at Dataran Merdeka.

Twenty more people would have their statements recorded, Dang Wangi District Police chief ACP Zainol Samah said today.

Seventeen of the 20 people had been identified, he added.

"The investigation papers on the 11 people whose statements have been recorded are being compiled to be handed over to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action," he said when contacted.

About 1,500 people, many of them students, participated in the anti-government gathering that the organisers claimed was targeted to draw 10,000 people.
