The Tapah to Cameron Highlands route has been temporarily closed to all traffic since 9.25pm yesterday due to clearing works following several minor landslides along the road.
As such, Cameron Highlands police chief DSP Wan Zahari Wan Busu said road users were advised to use the Simpang Pulai to Cameron Highlands route.
He said works were also being done to restore the structure of the road on several affected areas along the stretch.
"For motorists from East Coast and Kuala Lumpur, they can use the Sungai Koyan to Cameron Highlands route," he told Bernama when contacted today.
