Tapah murder: Remand order extended

The Magistrate's Court here today extended for another seven days the remand order against four family members detained in connection with the murder of four individuals at a motor workshop in Jalan Pahang here.
The order, effective tomorrow until Dec 2, was issued by Magistrate Nurul Nadia Abdul Razak, to facilitate investigation into the murder of a 56-year-old female tour bus operator who was reported missing last March 1.
The four family members consist of the husband, 57; wife, 54, and their two sons, aged 17 and 20.
They were detained last Oct 26 at their house cum workshop after police obtained information about a 46-year-old man who was reported missing by his family members on Aug 25 this year.
Prior to this, they were also remanded to facilitate investigations in the case of 54-year-old auto spare parts salesman who was reported missing in June 2014 and also of a farmer.
The victims were believed to have been burnt and their bones and ashes thrown into Sungai Ceroh.
