The right-most lane after the junction of Jalan Jejaka and Jalan Cheras, here, will be closed temporarily at night for three days beginning Jan 29 to facilitate premix works for the mass rapid transit's (MRT) underground Maluri station.

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Corporation Sdn Bhd in a statement today said the road closure, covering a 50-metre stretch, would be from midnight to 6am.

The road heading towards Jalan Loke Yew will be re-opened to the public on January 31.

The statement also said that safety barriers, hoarding and traffic cones would be installed at the work site to ensure that road users and pedestrians were pre-warned about the on-going works.

For further information, the public can visit MRTs website at www.mmymrt.com.my, call the 1800-82-68686 hotline or follow MRT's tweets @MRTMalaysia.
