Temporary water disruption in Selangor

Several areas in Selangor will experience water supply disruption and low water pressure as the water supply to Hicom Shah Alam storage pool has to be temporarily stopped beginning 9 o'clock, Friday night.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement said this was to enable works to repair the leakage on the mild steel pipe to the pool to be done.

The works are expected to be completed by 5 am Saturday, the statement said.

Among the affected areas are the whole area of Section 22, from Section 25 to 28 and from Section 32 to Section 33, Shah Alam; whole area of UEP Subang Jaya; whole area of Bukit Naga, Shah Alam; whole area of Batu 8, Bukit Kemuning, Subang Mas, Batu 3 and Kampung Baru Hicom, Shah Alam; whole area of Kampung Kebun Bunga, Bandar Putera, Putra Heights and Kampung Bukit Lanchong.

Consumers are advised to reduce water consumption and to use water wisely during the period, the statement said.
