The Regent of Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah today praised the improvements made by the government at flood relief centres in the state.
Tengku Abdullah said he saw much effort had been made to make flood victims feel more comfortable, including the provision of partitions for women.
"This time, I see we are better prepared to face flood disasters, I saw many changes, including separating the women victims, and providing them with partitions.
"This gives them more comfort compared to before," he said after visiting and presenting contributions to 233 victims from 91 families at the relief centre in Sri Damai Village Community Hall here, today.
He was accompanied by Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, who helped cook dinner for the victims there. - BERNAMA
