Tengku Zafrul negative for COVID-19, on self-quarantine at home

KUALA LUMPUR: Minister of Finance, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said he has been tested negative for COVID-19.
He made the announcement through a post on his personal Instagram page on Tuesday.
"This morning (Tuesday) I received the results of the COVID-19 screening test. Alhamdulillah, the result is negative," he said.
In the same post, Tengku Zafrul informed that he will be at home to undergo self-health monitoring.
“Assignments and work commitments will also be continued from home. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes," he said.
On Monday, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
Following the announcement, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin decided to undergo self-quarantine at his residence for 14 days on the advice of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Muhyiddin said he chaired a special meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) which was attended by Dr Zulkifli and several Cabinet members and top government officials on October 3.
Other Cabinet members present included Senior Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Senior Minister of Works Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Senior Minister of Education Dr Radzi Jidin, Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba and related ministers.
Also present at the meeting were Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah; Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador and Chief of Defence Forces Gen Tan Sri Affendi Buang.
So far, Ismail Sabri and Dr Noor Hisham have decided to undergo self-quarantine at home.
