State Tourism, Culture and Information Technology Committee chairman, Ariffin Deraman said, however, the matter depended on how far was the response (to the cultural village) and the compliance with the SOPs by visitors during the free entry period until this Sunday (Sept 6).
‘’The Terengganu Cultural Village only started yesterday, so we look at the balance three free (entry) days, to see how far the response is, how is the SOP compliance situation and, god willing, we will plan the next move.
‘’As we have done at the Kelah Sanctuary in Tasik Kenyir, whereby the number of visitors at any one time there is limited, to comply with the SOP,’’ he said.
He was speaking to reporters during the closing of the 2020 Terengganu Cultural Festival at Warisan Sari Tok Jembal, here, yesterday.
In the meantime, Ariffin also reminded visitors to the Terengganu Cultural Village to always comply with the stipulated SOPs such as wearing face masks and physical distancing.
The Terengganu Cultural Village, which is located at the State Museum, is the latest tourism attraction in the state which displayed a living museum concept by bringing together art, culture and heritage from all the eight districts in the state.
