KUALA LUMPUR:A total of 217 individuals who failed to practice physical distancing were among the 577 detained by the police for disobeying the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), on Friday.
Here are five important points from Senior Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today, Saturday, 28 November 2020:
1) 577 individuals detained under various offences for disobeying RMCO while 55 individuals were remanded.
2) 49 illegal immigrants (PATI) and two smugglers arrested in Ops Benteng.
3) 63,722 inspections conducted to monitor and enforce RMCO compliance and SOPs.
4) 941 land transport terminals, 231 water transport terminals and 83 air transport terminals were inspected.
