These are not the Priuses you are looking for

The recent recalls issued by Toyota Motor Corporation, or TMC, recalling the slew of Prius cars does not affect the Malaysian market. The affected models are Prius α (alpha), Prius v, Prius + and Auris Hybrid, all of which are not sold nor introduced in Malaysia through UMW Toyota. The Prius c isn’t affected but you can be sure that UMW Toyota will issue a recall should Takata find the airbag within faulty. Seeing that the Prius c is new, recalling the compact hybrid should be unlikely. *fingers crossed*

Currently, the only Toyota cars officially sold and introduced in Malaysia by UMW Toyota affected are the Vios, Corolla Altis, Yaris and RAV4 manufactured between 2001 and 2008. You can find more information about the recalls here and here.
