Third death of Malaysian pilgrim

A third Malaysian pilgrim Shamsiah Yaacob, 59 from Macang, Kelantan has died while performing the haj in Makkah at 10:30am (local time) on Saturday 28 Sept due to heart attack.

She died while traveling in a bus that was taking her from Tana’im to perform the Umrah (minor haj). Her husband Awang bin Mamat is in Makkah to perform the haj.

Burial is scheduled to take place after Asar prayers at the Syar’ek cemetery here in Makkah.

Tabung Haji has already notified the immediate family in Malaysia.
