Three arrested for road bullying in Shah Alam

A 29-year-old lorry driver suffered bruises on his face and hands after being beaten up by three men in a road bully case at Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari here, Wednesday.
Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said the police received information about a male lorry driver getting injured after being hit with an iron rod by suspects in a van, at 7.18am.
He said the three suspects, aged between 23 and 38, were arrested around Shah Alam shortly after, and the police seized an iron rod, and the keys to the lorry belonging to the victim.
"Investigations revealed that the victim, who is currently receiving treatment at the Shah Alam General Hospital was injured by the suspects after fighting for right of way on the road," he said in a statement via WhatsApp.
He said the three suspects were remanded under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
