Three family members killed in five-vehicle road crash

Three members of a family were killed in a road crash involving five vehicles at KM55.9 of the North South Express way (north bound) today.

State Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the department received a call at 5.29am and six firemen in an engine from the Renggam fire and rescue station rushed to the scene.

He said the road crash involved a container lorry, a Volkswagen car and three motorcycles.

"A family, involving a man, a woman and a child, was killed in the incident," he said in a statement here Friday.
