Three men detained for defying curfew In Semporna
The three men were taken to the MOF base here for further action, he added.
Three men were detained by the Marine Operations Force (MOF) in waters of Pulau Gaya yesterday for defying the curfew order imposed in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZone).
Sabah Region 4 MOF Commander ACP Mohamad Madun said the three men, aged between 22 and 38, were detained in an operation, code-named "Op Taring", at about 3.30 am.
They failed to produce documents of being exempted from the curfew when approached by the MOF team, he said in a statement here today.
He said the MOF team also seized an engine of a pump boat and 13 empty jerry cans.
The three men were taken to the MOF base here for further action, he added.
