The slip road from Taman Mutiara Barat to Jalan Cheras, beside the flyover to Taman Segar will be closed for three months, beginning Sunday.
Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp) said the slip road would be re-opened on May 11.
In a statement here Friday, MRT Corp said the temporary closure was necessary to facilitate piling works and pile cap construction for MRT Sungai Buloh to Kajang Line.
It said, as an alternative to access Jalan Cheras, motorists coming from Jalan Dato' Harun were advised to use Jalan Mutiara Raya to get onto Jalan Cheras.
As part of MRT Corp's standard operating procedure, the safety barriers, traffic cones and traffic flagman will be placed at the work site to ensure road users are pre-warned of ongoing works.
MRT Corp apologised for any inconvenience caused to the public during the construction period.
