Three-month old baby boy critical after suffering head injuries

A three-month old baby boy is believed to have suffered internal hemorrhaging due a caretaker's negligence at a nursery in Jitra.
The victim's father Ashraf Abdullah said Alfateh was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here at about 2.40 pm yesterday and was still in critical condition.
Ashraf said he received a call from the nursery at about 12.11pm to inform that his son was having a fever.
Ashraf, 35, a lecturer at a public university in Perlis, later went to the nursery and found his son, the youngest of three siblings, very weak with bruises on his left chin and head.
