Three more Rompin accident victims identified

The identity of three more victims from the family of six killed in an accident at KM142.8 of Jalan Kuantan-Segamat, Muadzam Shah, here Saturday night, have been identified.
Rompin Police chief DSP Johari Jahaya said they are siblings Mohd Wazin Azhar, 20, Ain Nadiah, 13 and Ain Najihah, 2.
The victims identified on Saturday were their father, Azhar Mat Ali, 43, and his wives Zaliha Johar (first wife), 42, and Siti Habibah Kasbon (second wife), 43.
The bodies of Azhar, Ain Nadiah and Ain Najihah (Siti Habibah's daughters) were sent to the Muadzam Shah Hospital, while Mohd Wazin (Zaliha's son), Zaliha and Siti Habibah were sent to the Rompin Hospital, he said.
"A post-mortem will be carried out on the victims at the respective hospitals," he told Bernama Sunday.
Johari said during the 8.30pm incident, the family of six were on their way to Azhar's mother's house in Keratong 2, Bandar Tun Razak, here from Segamat when the car skidded and entered the opposite lane before colliding head-on with an oncoming bus.
He said a nine-month-old baby girl on the bus sustained minor injuries to the head and was treated as an outpatient at the Segamat Hospital, while the bus driver, whose eyes were injured by shards of glass, is being treated at the same hospital.
The 25 other passengers onboard the bus were not injured, he added.
