Three shops razed in Puchong fire

Three shops, including a restaurant and a sundry shop, were razed in a fire at Batu 11, Puchong, near here, yesterday.

Puchong Fire and Rescue station operations officer, Haswan Mohd Wasir when contacted said the station received a call on the fire at 9.55pm.

He said three fire-engines with 18 firemen from the Puchong, Subang Jaya and Section 17, Petaling Jaya stations took five minutes to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to the other shops in the row.

The cause of the fire and losses were still being investigated, he added.
