The Tanjong Datu state by-election on Feb 18 will see a three-cornered fight between Barisan Nasional (BN), State Reform Party (Star) and Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) Baru.
It involves BN's Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu, Rapelson Richard Hamit from PBDS Baru and Johnny Aput (Star), says Tanjong Datu by-election Returning Officer Hamsein Atar at the Lundu Community Hall nomination centre today.
Tanjong Datu state seat by-election was held following the death of the fifth Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem on Jan 11, due to heart complications, in the Sarawak Heart Centre, Kota Samarahan.
Meanwhile, an Independent candidate Asbor Abdullah who also submitted his nomination had his candidacy rejected for failing to provide the bankruptcy notice form.
