Tian Chua, Ambiga, Hishamuddin Rais added to Immigration blacklist

Batu MP Tian Chua, along with activists Maria Chin Abdullah, Hishamuddin Rais and Adam Adli Abdul Halim have been barred from leaving the country, according to The Star.
Another activist, Datuk S. Ambiga said her ban only covered travel to east Malaysia.

It was reported on Wednesday that SRC International managing director and former 1MDB chief investment officer Nik Faisal Kamal Ariff had been barred from leaving the country.
The check by the paper did however show that Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi, the founding managing director and CEO of 1MDB until March 2013, is not on the travel blacklist.
Others barred from travelling abroad are The Edge Media Group owner Datuk Tong Kooi Ong, PKR MP Rafizi Ramli, and DAP MP Tony Pua.
Pua was stopped by Immigration officials from leaving on a flight to Jogjakarta, Indonesia, at the klia2 low-cost carrier terminal yesterday. He was reported to be considering filing a lawsuit against the government over the matter.
