He advised the people in Johor against overreacting to the attempts and strategy by certain quarters to create divisions among the people.
"Information received about the video, 'Johor For Christians' which has gone viral in Facebook, is that it was masterminded by a group from Negeri Sembilan," he said through Facebook, Johor Southern Tigers.
"We respect all races and everyone in Johor has the right to practise their respective religion. Duli Tuanku (Sultan Johor) has also warned outsiders not to disturb the harmony and unity of the people in Johor," he said.
Meanwhile, Johor UMNO Youth chief Hahasrin Hashim condemned the action of the organiser of the controversial, "MforJ2015 Take Possesion of The Land Kingdom Conference".
He noted that the organiser was responsible for circulating a 20-second video carrying provocative contents to promote the event.
"It can potentially create unease and confusion among the Muslims in Johor," he said, urging the organiser to call off the event.
He hoped the authorities would take stock of the situation.
