Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has proposed for the state to develop a ‘Bangsa Johor’ education module, to promote unity.

"In the future, there will be no Indian, Chinese, and Malay schools in Johor.

"But there will be a ‘Bangsa Johor’ school. From small, they will be taught about unity, respecting each other’s religion, and respecting all races,” said the Johor Crown Prince, also known as TMJ, in a recorded dialogue session video uploaded on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page on Sunday.

He also asked if the vernacular schools foster unity among Malaysians.

"Malaysia have 1Malaysia. You (reporters) give me one answer, where is 1Malaysia?

"There are schools for Indians, for Chinese and Malays. From small you teach them not to be united and when they grow up, you tell them to be united," he said.

In another development, the dialogue session also touched on the pendrive issue.

TMJ said the purpose of submitting the controversial pendrive to the Youth and Sports Ministry was to solve the problems plaguing the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), and not to punish them.
