Johor crown prince General Brigadier Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has been warned by Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz today over his criticisms about the "#Nothing2Hide" forum.
Nazri said Tunku Ismail should to stay out of politics, news portal MalaysiaKini reported.
“He should stay out of politics or ... he would face the same thing ... we would whack him.
"Rulers and royal families are above the law -- they should not get involved or interfere in politics. If you (Tunku Ismail) want to be a politician then just say so. Then, we have the grounds to rebut.
“If you're holding a vital post as a member of the royal family and you opt to comment on the current affairs of national politics and your action backfires with the government 'whacking' you, don't get angry," reported the portal.
Earlier, on June 6, Tunku Ismail posted on Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page, stating "how can you have a dialogue called Nothing2Hide featuring a person who has everything to hide?
“Obviously he won't show up."
"For those who had been entrusted with the responsibility, do not blame the people for losing confidence and trust in you, but think of why they no longer have the confidence and trust in you," he added.

The heir of Johor throne, who boasts the nickname TMJ, has urged national leaders to understand why the support and confidence from the 'rakyat' are weakening.
The 11th hour cancellation of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's Nothing2Hide dialogue with hundreds of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here, recently had left many baffled.
Police ordered for the cancellation over security reasons, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar in a tweet post citing that imminent 'chaos' could threaten public safety.
The aim of the public forum was to discuss national and social matters but following Najib's no-show, talks were abuzz on social media as to why the forum was called off.
