TNB denies posting on power blackout

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) today refuted a posting that went viral on the social media of a power blackout nationwide this Sunday.
Its Corporate Affairs and Communications Senior General Manager, Datuk Mohd Aminuddin Amin, in a statement today, advised the public to not spread the false information.
"The public are advised to not share the posting as it has now caused confusion," he added.
According to the posting, there will be power failure in the country this Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
Mohd Aminuddin said the public could also obtain latest information on periodical works conducted by TNB by surfing the company's website at https://www.tnb.com.my/ or by contacting its customer service on Facebook at TNB Careline or call 1300885454. - ERNAMA
