Toddler among 3 shot dead in poultry factory quarrel

A two-year-old child was shot dead following a quarrel at a poultry processing factory early this morning here today.
The victims were a 55-year-old woman, who was shot at close range, her son, 27 and the factory owner, 50 in this 2.55am incident.
State Criminal Investigation Department, Datuk Razaruddin Husain said a 32-year-old man, believed to have connection with the victim’s family, is still at large.
Police, however has found the vehicle used by the suspect.
Victims were in their respective bedrooms, located at the factory when the suspect entered the premises.
A quarrel ensued after one of the victim’s refused to give the money demanded by the suspect.
The suspect was armed with a pistol before went on to release six shots before fleeing the scene on a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) owned by the factory.
The victims were sent to the Pulau Pinang Hospital for post-mortem.
