Toddler dies after alleged sexual abuse

Three individuals including a mother of a toddler, aged two months and five months, who died due to alleged abuse have been remanded for seven days starting today.

Petaling Jaya police chief, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohd Zani Che Din said the other two arrested are the woman’s boyfriend and the victim’s babysitter’s husband.

The suspects, aged in the 20s were arrested at Apartment Impian Baiduri in Petaling Jaya earlier today.

ACP Mohd Zani said the post-mortem revealed that there are major injuries on the victim's body caused by strong impact using blunt object. Meanwhile, neighbours claimed that they did not know the suspects.
