Tok Pa lauds agencies services for flood affectees

Flood aid distributions to victims in flood-affected areas in Kelantan have been effective and satisfying.

Citing the assistance as ‘tip-top’, International Trade and Industry Minister, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said the flood relief agencies involved have been equipped with adequate experience, thanks to the massive 2014 Kelantan floods.

He also explained that the government also delivered its promise in ensuring the comfort of flood victims.

Mustapa also cautioned Kelantanese to be vigilant at all times in facing the monsoon.

The possibility of inundated rain and flood can be predicted, said Mustapa but nobody can gauge the magnitude of the flood.

He also said that the flood can hit not just during the monsoon season between Oct and Dec but also from Jan and March.
