Tony Fernandes: My heart bleeds for all the relatives of my crew and passengers

"My heart bleeds for all the relatives of my crew and our passengers."

This is the heart wrenching message posted by AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes on his Twitter page today, when referring to the family of those on-board flight QZ8501.

He also said he is keeping positive outlook and staying strong.

In another posting, Fernandes said the warmth and support given by the people of Indonesia has been incredible, in light of the tragedy.

The staff in Indonesia have been brave, strong, committed and doing 150 percent for all our guests. My pride for them is enormous.

Fernandes is currently in Surabaya, Indonesia to lend his moral support to the search and rescue efforts.
