The sixth day of Ops Daulat saw one casualty and many others arrested on top of those being already detained. Below are some of the key highlights on March 10:
- The day started with Sabah Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib announcing that two security officers from the Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) were injured in a shooting incident in Tanjung Batu.
- Later, in a press conference, Inpector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the 25-year-olds were carried out of the operation area by a police helicopter and sent to the Hospital for treatment.
- Ismail also said that an unidentified teenager between the age range of 12 to 15 was killed while a man sustained injuries on his leg when the Malaysian police personnel fired shots at a bush in Kampung Sungai Bilis today morning.
- Ismail said the police also two men and three women in Kampung Sungai Bilis for investigation.
- In Semporna, police arrested six adults believed to have links with the Sulu intruders in two separate incidents.
- Meanwhile, Defence minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Malaysia government will ensure that no intruders in Lahad Datu, Sabah will escape. Instead, they would be shot dead or be captured alive and be tried according to the country's laws.
- Also, a team of journalists and photographers who ventured into Kampung Tanjung Labian to look out for possible stories today morning, got terrified when they spotted an armed man. They also witnessed about 30 terrified Tanjung Labian villagers who were fleeing the area in panic after hearing four shots fired from within the area.
