Traffic to North, East remain slow but under control

Traffic remains slow moving along the highways heading to north and east from the city as at 9pm today while the traffic towards south remains under control.
A spokesman for the Plus Expressways Traffic Control Centre, when contacted by Bernama, said north bound traffic witnessed congestion from Slim River to Sungkai and from Ipoh to Sungai Perak R&R.
"Traffic is also slow moving between Bidor and Tapah," he said.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said the eastward traffic on the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) heading to the Gombak toll plaza and up to Bukit Tinggi is also slow.
