Malaysia and Singapore is proposing to bring forward the sub-regional ministerial steering committee meeting on transboundary haze pollution.

Natural Resources and Environmental minister Datuk Seri G . Palanivel said the original meeting has been originally scheduled on 20 and 21 August.

"We are awaiting response from the other three member countries. Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand.

"We are proposing it to be held next week or July 2.

"Malaysia has proposed to host the meeting in Kuala Lumpur," he said.
