Civil servants working at Defence Ministry who are found guilty of corruption will be transferred to other ministries.
Its Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said he wanted all his staff to practise high integrity.
"Commanders, senior officers, the secretary-general, deputy secretary-general.. if they are involved in corruption, they will be moved to another ministry.
"I want to state here, that it is an honour to lead, and to be in this ministry," he said at a speech during the ministry's monthly assembly at Dewan Perkasa Wisma Perwira, here, today.
In fact, Hishammuddin said, if there are any evidence of him too being involved in corruption, they should report it to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
"I myself, if there are things I do, or my officers do, if there is evidence related to me, report them to the MACC.
"I am willing to face anything, if there is evidence, because I am here not because (I am) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin, but as the Defence Minister responsible for maintaining our national security and defence," he said.
Also present at the ceremony were MACC chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad and other MACC senior officers.
There was also a recital of the corruption-free oath led by ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Abdul Rahim Mohamad Radzi.
