Trial of women suspects in Kim Jong Nam murder set for Oct 2

The High Court has set Oct 2 as trial date for the two women accused of killing estranged half-brother of North Koreas ruler, Kim Jong Nam.
The High Court has set Oct 2 as trial date for the two women accused of killing estranged half-brother of North Korea’s ruler, Kim Jong Nam.
Judge Datuk Azmi Ariffin set the date for a 23-day trial to be held until the end of November.
Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong and Indonesian Siti Aisyah were charged with murdering Kim Jong Nam at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) Departure Hall at about 9am on February 13 by rubbing his face with banned VX nerve agent.
Siti Aisyah and Doan were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
