KOTA KINABALU:The decision on who will be the new Sabah Chief Minister will be made by Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin in the near future.
Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said Tun Juhar had asked for a a bit of time to make the decision.
"He asked for time ... (decision) will be in the nearest time," he told the media briefly after having an audience with Tun Juhar this afternoon.
Apart from him, three other leaders, Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor; Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) secretary-general Datuk Jahid Jahim; and STAR President Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan had also met Tun Juhar.
Meanwhile, Jahid explained that his party was leaving the matter to Tun Juhar to make a decision.
Jahim explained that all the discussion process went smoothly.
