Tun Mahathir and wife attend Bersih 4

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali surprised Bersih 4 rally participants when they made an appearance at the rally near Dataran Merdeka tonight.
The couple received a rousing welcome by the participants who took the opportunity to take pictures with the former premier.
Dr Mahathir and Dr Siti Hasmah, who were heavily guarded, arrived at the premises at 7.15pm.
They mingled with the participants for awhile and left around 7.45pm.
Earlier, speaking in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Dr Mahathir described the gathering as a mass movement and a platform where Malaysians try to voice their feelings and concerns on national affairs.
