Former DAP vice-president Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim has lodged a police report on a death threat he received yesterday.
Tunku Abdul Aziz, who arrived at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters at about 10am to lodge the report, said the threat was made by a man through a telephone call at 10.10pm yesterday. He said he feared for his family's safety and decided to lodge the police report.
"His conversation was very brave. He said he will kill me," he added.
He did not rule out the possibility that the threat was made because of his comments on several issues in the country.
"He probably threatened me to stop my comment on some important issues about our country," he added.
Petaling Jaya deputy police chief Supt Fadil Marsus confirmed the report.
