The train hit Sabiran Musa, 40, and Nizam Riduan Musa, 36, at 6.21pm when they darted across the tracks near the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad overhead pedestrian bridge.
A commuter train hit two brothers crossing the railway tracks to a grocery shop in Padang Jawa near here yesterday, killing them on the spot, police said today.
The train hit Sabiran Musa, 40, and Nizam Riduan Musa, 36, at 6.21pm when they darted across the tracks near the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad overhead pedestrian bridge, said Shah Alam District Police chief ACP Shafien Mamat.
He said the single men from Sungai Rasau, who helped their father sell chicken in Section 16 here, were thrown off about three metres from the tracks by the impact.
"They were hit by a commuter train travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Klang, and suffered broken arms and legs and injuries to the head.
"The bodies were sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang," said Shafien, adding that the case was classified as sudden death.
