Two chicken processing factory guards were found dead with slash wounds all over their bodies in the factory in Jalan Bukit Kuda, Kampung Kuantan, here today.
Klang Utara district police chief ACP Mazelan Paijan said the victims were identified as Wan Amir Hamzah Abu Hassan, 48, and Syed Mohd Fazrul Syed Mohd Ridhwan, 23.
Their bodies were found sprawled in a small room in the factory by the employer's son who came at 1 pm looking for them as they were missing since two days ago, he told reporters at the scene, here today.
Mazelan said the employer's son, in his 20s, told him that the last time he saw them, who had worked at the factory since three years ago, was on Monday when handing over their pay.
Another local worker who occupied another small room in the factory other than three Bangladeshis who came to work (in the morning).
"The foreign nationals were unaware of the foul smell (from the two bodies) maybe because their senses of smell were used to the foul smell in the factory when processing chicken.
"The local worker had disappeared and now he is being hunted by police as he is believed to be at the scene during the incident."
Mazelan said police would scrutinise the closed circuit television (CCTV) at the factory and examine the location to determine whether their monehy and belongings were missing or not," he added.
