Two children killed in four-vehicle collision

Two children, aged 10 and four were killed, three seriously injured and eight suffered minor injuries in a
four-vehicle collision Sunday morning in Ranau, about 108km from here.
Ranau police chief DSP Abd Rahman Kassim identified the dead as Hafzan Dullah, 10 and Marcella Christianus, four.
Rahman said during the 11am incident, the lorry which was carrying fertilizer from here to Sandakan was said to have lost control and rammed into a Toyota Hilux, Kembara SUV and a Kancil before plunging into Sungai Liwagu.
Lorry driver Jai Dullah, 27, his younger brother, 15 and a six-month old toddler were seriously injured.
Eight others, namely four from the Kembara and four in the Kancil car, including the drivers suffered minor injuries while the driver of the Toyota Hilux fled the scene.
