Two detained for investigations into teenagers found dead in car
Police said the victims, both 19, were believed to have been with three other friends before they were found dead.
The police have detained two individuals to facilitate investigations into the death of two teenagers whose bodies were found inside a car in Kampung Panchor, Kemumin here last Monday.
Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail said the victims, both 19, were believed to have been with three other friends before they were found dead.
"According to the father of one of the victims, he saw his son's friends in the area. Two of them, both 19, were picked up on Tuesday, while another one, who is in his 20s, is still being tracked down," he told reporters here.
Police have classified the case as sudden death, as report by pathologists found the victims died due to heat stroke.
Mohamad Sharul Nizam Hasbullah, from Kampung Gertak Sagu, and Nik Muhammad Hafiz Nik Zamzam, from Kampung Panchor, Kemumin, were found dead in a Perodua Kelisa parked in front of a house at 5.55am.
Post-mortems found no injuries on the bodies.
