Two of four siblings involved in Baling accident to undergo surgery today

Two of the four siblings who were injured in a fatal accident that saw their parents killed in Kampung Teluk Keduri, Baling on Tuesday, will undergo surgery on their feet and hands, today.
Kedah Health director Datuk Dr Norhizan Ismail said, however, three of them, admitted to the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani at 2.25pm yesterday, were conscious and in stable condition, while one of them received outpatient treatment at the Baling Hospital.
According to him, Irdina Aliah, 11, who suffered a broken bone between the elbow and wrist would undergo surgery on her right hand, while Imanina Aliah, six, would go through surgery on her left thigh.
Insyirah Aliah, 10, suffered a fractured right hand which involved the wrist, received non-surgical treatment, while Muhammad Adib Mustakim, eight, who sustained minor injuries received outpatient treatment was discharged this afternoon, he said in a statement.
The incident occurred at 7.15 am when the ASP Mohd Noor Mat Yaub, 38, who was driving a Toyota Passo car, was on his way to send his wife, Suriya Abd Rahman, 37, a teacher and four of their children to Sekolah Kebangsaan Teluk Teduri, Baling.
It was believed that Mohd Noor was trying to make a right turn when his car was hit by a Toyota Hilux from behind, and this had caused his car to veer into the opposite lane and was hit by an oncoming Honda City. As a result of the incident the two victims died at the scene.
