Two hurt in PPR house collapse in Sandakan's Kg Air

Two people were injured when a People's Housing Programme (PPR) unit collapsed during a prayer session for the dead here Saturday night.

Sandakan Fire and Rescue Zone chief Anddre Andrew said the victims in the incident at Kampung Air Jalan Bokara were a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man.

He said there were about 20 people at the house when it fell into the sea and sank right up to the roof.

JBDP received a call on the incident at 7.38 pm and the responders administered first aid before sending the victims to a nearby hospital, he told Bernama. -- BERNAMA
