Two injured in Klang helicopter crash

KUALA LUMPUR: A private Turbine Robinson R66 helicopter was reported to have crashed at the Port Klang Free Trade Zone (PKFZ), on Friday.
According to Selangor JBPM Director Norazam Khamis, they received an emergency call at 10 am.
"The helicopter made an emergency landing and crashed in an open area, no fire occurred.
"There are two victims involved in the incident and they are in stable condition and only suffered minor injuries.
"The victim, identified as Kharudin Dahlan (pilot), 73, suffered injuries to his left hand, while Moithu Kutti Mohamad (co-pilot), 53, suffered minor injuries," he said in a statement, on Friday.
Commenting further, Norazam said both victims were sent to the hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
