Two international students die, another sustains injury after car crashes into pole

Two International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) students were killed, while another one sustained severe injuries after the car they were travelling in skidded and crashed into a pole at Sultan Iskandar Expressway here early Friday.
City Traffic Police Investigation and Legal staff officer DSP S. Markandan said the trio were heading to the city centre from Jalan Duta when the mishap occurred at 3am.
"The dead are international students from Nigeria and Egypt, while the identity of the injured one was being ascertained," he told Bernama when contacted here Friday.
Markandan said the bodies were taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post mortem.
