Two killed, 10 injured in crash involving seven vehicles near Yong Peng

Police said the four other vehicles involved in the crash, which occurred at 9 pm, were two lorries, including a trailer, and two cars -- a Perodua Viva and a BMW.
Two women were killed when the car they were travelling in was hit by a lorry at KM116 of the North-South Expressway (north bound) near Yong Peng, Johor last night.
The victims who were travelling in a Proton Wira were known as Che Pon Ahmad, 74, and Sabahriah Mahad, 53, both from Melaka.
Yong Peng Fire and Rescue Department operations officer, Arif M. Yatim said his department received a distress call at 8:42pm, Saturday night.
He said the there were two accidents in two separate locations -- the first accident involved a Suzuki Swift and a Perodua Axia and the second one involved a BMW, Proton Wira, two trucks and a trailer.
Two men and four women were injured in the first accident
The second accident occured about 200 metres from the location of the first accident, where two women were killed and four others injured.
All ten of the injured victims were sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital in Muar for treatment.
