Two killed in freak crane accident in Klang

A man, 61 and his female companion died instantly when a crane collapsed on the Perodua Axia they were traveling in.

In the incident at Persiaran Astana, Klang, the man and the 56-year-old Indonesian woman, sustained severe head injuries.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman said the duo were traveling in their car at the construction area around 12.30pm when the incident occurred.

Their remains have been sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for a post-mortem.
