Two killed, two others seriously injured in road accident in Siburan

Two people were killed while two others were seriously injured in a road accident involving a Viva car and a four-wheel-drive vehicle at Taman Sentah, Siburan, here at 4.25pm on Wednesday.
State traffic police chief, DSP Alexson Naga Chabu said the Viva car driver, who was identified as Steward Bujeng Labor, 70, was died at the scene, while a female passenger in the front seat, Julie Stewart, 30, died on the way to the Sarawak General Hospital.
He said, two other passengers of the car, namely Juliana Jauh Anak Siyang, 57, and Snowline Anak Dunstan, 18, were seriously injured.
The 35-year-old four-wheel-drive vehicle driver, who was unidentified was unhurt.
The four victims were from Kampung Tian Mawang, Serian, he said.
The victims were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital and the case was being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
"Initial investigations revealed that the Viva car was turning into Taman Sentah while the four-wheel-drive vehicle was heading to Kuching," he said.
