Two second hand goods operators to be charged for breeding aedes mosquito

Negeri Sembilan deputy director of Health (Public Health) Dr Zainudin Mohd Ali said the second hand goods premises would not get away with a compound.

"The premises cover recycling, used cars and car repair workshops. The inspections were carried out as the premises have the potential to become breeding grounds for mosquitoes," he said in a statement here, today.

The operation was carried out at two 'hotspots' namely, Taman Satria and Taman Tuanku Jaafar, Senawang, by 56 enforcement officers from the district health office and the state health department.

Zainudin said seven more potential breeding premises were given notices to clean-up in two weeks failing which the operators would be charged in court.
